STORY
If you know Jill Reeves, then you understand she inherently commands and captivates a crowd wherever she goes. Effortlessly, naturally and sincerely. On a particular night in 2004, while attending a get together at a mutual friend’s house, I recall taking note of this tall, cool (like epitome of cool) girl I’d never met before. At one point, I paused from socializing to experience the amazingly intoxicating energy that swirled around her. I made a mental note, I wanted to know her, then carried on with my evening. Virtually oblivious to the notably obvious. Over the years, we seldom ran into one another, and when the occasion did occur, I sensed the spike in my excitement level was not mutual. So much so, that the hugs and kisses from Nicole left me certain I was the object of her affection. Ha! But, as life has a way of doing, our paths converged in spite of the missed cues. Happily so. I look back in retrospect and believe I snagged the best of them all. Jill is unrelenting in caring for and loving her people. I am the recipient of a level of selflessness I am not able to replicate. I count my blessings daily that I have found a partner and an adventurer raised up on good manners and old country.

STORY
Circa 2004…It was love at first sight. Followed by a long period of asking myself, how do I get that one? I resorted to vision boarding, passive approaches and using the best wing woman to do my work. Finally, the stars aligned in 2009 and we had our first date. Victor Tangos, middle of the bar, magic. The night was filled with nerves, laughter and “don’t not touch me”. The next 8 years happened in a blink of an eye. Our road hasn’t always been easy but it has always been a choice, filled with love, adventure, laughter, growth, tears, fears, forgiveness and gratitude. I won the love lotto and am over the moon about getting to spend my life with Summer. She is amazingly funny, smart, loving, beautiful, caring, kind and my heart is full that she said YES! I am incredibly thankful and extremely excited to share our story and our special moment with you. I look forward to another magical memory shared together. #lovewins
